Google Maps is a great tool for a lot of reasons. From planning a route to that car show to seeing what that old German car parts store looks like before you get there, it really can be useful. For this Oppo Challenge, I want you to try to find old/ interesting cars that aren't at a dealership. I found the image above (VW Beetle hanging out with what appears to be a Ford Thunderbird) by just moving around a town with a lot of old cars in Street View.

I just remembered... before Street view existed... Google earth was the thing, and someone found a massive parking lot full of bright supercars... gunna try and see if I can find it again and get a street view.

The significance of this is that the owner was driving ths bug to work every day since new, I think. Now the place is closed. Outlasted their place of work. :(

Sorry, didn't mean to do that to ya. I should track them down, the owner and the car. Small town. Im not sure about since new, but at least since I can remember. Gone in the evening and weekends, so it wasn't storage.

I also need to sit down and talk this one guy out of his knowledge of the VW shop he works at. It's been around in various names since the day. Started out as a source of gray market Beetles.
